34 travellers’ among 84 fresh covid-19 cases in J&K
Srinagar, Feb 21 : Thirty-five travellers were among 84 fresh covid-19 cases reported even as there was no death due to the virus in the last 24 hours in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Sunday.
Among the fresh cases, they said, 16 from Jammu Division and 68 from Kashmir Valley, taking the fresh overall case tally to 125867.
Giving district-wise, the officials told GNS that Srinagar reported 35 cases, Baramulla 13, Budgam 7, Pulwama 6, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 5, Bandipora 0, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 1, Shopian 1, Jammu 11, Udhampur 3, Rajouri 1, Doda 0, Kathua 0, Samba 1, Kishtwar 0, Poonch 0, Ramban 0 and Reasi 0.
A number of these cases were confirmed at diagnostic laboratories of SKIMS Soura, CD hospital and GMC Anantnag.
The SKIMS cases include female (48) from Agar Pattan, female (43) from Yarikalan Chadoora, female (58) from Gopalpora Chadoora, male (70) from Chadoora Budgam, male (65) from K Manloo Shopian, female (52) from Utresoo Anantnag, male (65) from Haran Ganderbal, male (65) from Khanyar Srinagar and male (60) from Malikpora Pulwama.
The CD cases include female (35) from Batnoor, male (45) from Budgam, male (55) from Bemina Srinagar, female (32) from Nowgam, male (70) and female (65) from Satboni Lal Bazar, male (75) from Pattan Baramulla.
The GMC Anantnag cases include female (25) from Kp Road, female (60) from Hadigam, male (60) from Shangus.
Moreover, they said, 63 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and were discharged from various hospitals—seven from Jammu Division and 56 from Kashmir.
Out of 125867 cases, 721 are “active Positive”, 123192 have recovered while 1954 have died—725 in Jammu division and 1229 in Kashmir Valley.
