Locals Blame Fire and Emergency Deptt of Negligence
Poonch June 19 : Nine shops were gutted in an overnight blaze in a market on Saturday in Mandi area of the Poonch district.
Reports reached CNS that held a strong protest against Fire and Emergency Services for allegedly reaching late and blamed their blamed them of negligence .
According to local sources fire breakout at market in Bus Stand, Loran, in Mandi, at about 0445 hours.
They added that till the time Fire and Emergency Services department reached the spot, nine shops were damaged already.
The locals also staged protest, accusing the Fire and Emergency department accusing them of reaching very late.
Locals while refusing to take their help said that the fire was brought under control with the help of police and army.
Senior police official told CNS that an FIR has been lodged and to ascertain the cause of accident fire. (CNS
