New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has appreciated Danish PM’s efforts on lifting the lockdown. Both the leaders had a telephonic conversation on this matter on Thursday.
Danish PM Mette Frederiksen had also appreciated India’s initiatives to contain the deadly coronavirus. Prime Minister Modi appreciated Denmark’s success in lifting the lockdown restrictions without causing an increase in infections.

Both the leaders lauded the successful organisation of the Joint Commission Meeting between the two Foreign Ministers on May 12.
The leaders committed themselves to work towards the goal of creating a robust Green Strategic Partnership between India and Denmark. They said sectors like Health Research, Clean and Green Energy, and Climate Change resilience offer tremendous scope for mutually beneficial collaboration.
