Srinagar, Jun 16 : A person was arrested by a police team on recovery of contraband and illegal drug from his possession in Janglat Mandi area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district this afternoon.
Police officials told GNS that a naka was established by a team led by Duty Officer Janglat Mandi, (Sub-inspector) Ghulam Mohammad. A person was stopped and checked by the team, which according to the officials, led to the recovery of 270 grams of Charas-like substance besides 12 strips of banned drug Pasimo Proxivion tablets from the latter’s possession.
Identifying the accused as one Ghulam Nabi Dekka, resident of Deva Colony, they further said that the person has been arrested and a case FIR Number 280 U/S 8/20 8/21 registered in this regard. (GNS
