Srinagar Jul 15: A minor boy aged 10-year-old boy was wounded on Thursday afternoon after an abandoned grenade went off in Parraypora Kalaroos area in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Sources told CNS that the boy namely Zubair Ahmad son of Ghulam Mohammed Khan was palying with the abandoned grenade lying in the vicinity of his house.
The device exploded, resulting in injuries to the boy who was immediately removed to a local health facility.
Meanwhile the police reached the spot and took cognisance of the accident to ascertain the cause of incident. (CNS)
