PAGD and it’s b-team in jammu frustrated with draft delimitation report: pathania

Srinagar,28-Dec;:- While addressing one day meeting of prominent people, especially those belonging to ST community in tehsil Majalta, Mr. Ranbir Singh Pathania, Spokesperson J & K BJP said that the draft delimitation is a sincere attempt on the part of the Commission to dole out political justice to hitherto neglected areas of J & K.

The Commission has come out with a scientific formula thereby relying upon the population, physical features, existing boundaries of administrative units, facilities of communication and public convenience and other like considerations while framing its draft proposals. It has sought objections and inputs from associate members. But PAGD and its B-Team in Jammu, sanning common ideology, standpoint, voter base, have gone the whole hog while launching a disinformation campaign in the area.

The only thing they have in common is that they had clung to power by fraud for so many decades while denying political justice to hitherto neglected areas.

But for enjoying loaves and fishes of power for decades and decades, nothing substantial has been done by them as yet. These are those who have played politics of deceit, double-speak and duplicity again and again. They owe an answer to people of J & K for denying political justice to people of J & K. They had ganged up in Assembly in 2002 and illegally stalled delimitation by enacting ‘seat freeze law’. Delimitation was put off in J & K till census after 2026.

While striking a chord with STs, he said that political reservation for the first time in history of JK to STs has been done. As many as 9 seats are to be reserved for STs in J&K. More so, the introduction of Forest Rights Act has scripted a new chapter in the history of J&K. For the first time ‘forest dwellers’ have been given a sense of respect, security and dignity. BJP sincerely believes in politics of ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas and Sabka Prayaas’ as its ‘mool mantra’.
