Authorities Saturday put all the doctors and staff of a private Nursing Home into quarantine after a pregnant lady who had been operated their yesterday was tested positive for Covid-19 infection today.
The Nursing Home is located in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Official sources told news agency KNT that yesterday, at ‘Lord’s Nursing Home’ a lady (name withheld) wife of Yasir Ahmed of Nadigam Shopian was operated for delivery and today her swab test was found positive.
District Administration without wasting any time, put all the concerned staff in quarantine, while the Nursing Home was fumigated and sanitized.
Sources added that the functioning at the Nursing Home has come to a grinding halt while administration is mulling to shift the patients to other hospitals. (KNT)
