Eidul Azha to be celebrated on July 31, says Pakistan Science & Technology minister

Minister for Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry on Monday announced that Eidul Azha will be celebrated on July 31 according to the Islamic calendar issued by his ministry.

Taking to Twitter, Chaudhry said that the Zil Haj moon will be seen “over Karachi and its peripheral areas on July 21”.

The minister added that the moon could be sighted with the help of binoculars and in some areas, with the naked eye as well. He added that the “exact location” of the moon can also be determined through the Ruet App.
