Government forces launched a cordon-and-search-operation (CASO) in a village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday evening.
Reports said a joint team of army’s 05 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a CASO in Arampora area of Sumbal in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
They said the forces conducted door to door searches in Arampora.
Sources said that the CASO was launched following inputs about the presence of militants in the area.
