Forces on Thursday afternoon sealed Tujjer area of North Kashmir’s Sopore following inputs about the presence of some militants.
Kashmir Despatch learnt from official sources that a joint team of Army’s 22 RR, SOG and CRPF launched a cordon and search operation in Tujjer Sopore.
Joint party conducted house to house searches in the area.
A police officer told Kashmir Despatch that on specific inputs about militants movement in the area, operation was launched.
Searches in the area was on when last reports came in.
