Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNS): Former cheif minister Mehbooba Mufti Wednesday condemned raids carried out by National Investigation Agency (NIA) in several locations in Srinagar including Greater Kashmir’s office and rights defender Khurram Parvez’s residence and termed it “yet another example of GOIs vicious crackdown on freedom of expression & dissent”.
Taking to micro-blogging site twitter Mehbooba wrote “NIA raids on human rights activist Khurram Parvez & Greater Kashmir office in Srinagar is yet another example of GOIs vicious crackdown on freedom of expression & dissent. Sadly, NIA has become BJPs pet agency to intimidate & browbeat those who refuse to fall in line”. (KNS)
