Srinagar,10-Nov,2020: Justice( Retd.) Muzaffar Hussain Attar has been appointed as the chairman of committee for fixation and regulation of fee for private schools. The issue was before the Lt. Governor administration for consideration for few months and finally the government in exercise of powers conferred by section 20A of Jammu & Kashmir School Education Act.2002. He is appointed on the post for 2 years. The appointment shall take effect from the date he assumes the charge. The post Justice (Retd.) Muzaffar Attar is going to hold will remain in the public eye as 90% parents in UT of J&K will be effected, so a lot of expectations are attached with him.
Justice Retired Muzaffar Hussain Attar as Justice of J & K High Court was considered as one of the honest most capable judges of High Court. JKMK a literary organization in 2017 in a grand function conferred a special award to him for honest and speedy justice.
