Amid biting cold and thigh high snow, security forces launched CASO in shopian.

Shopian 12 Jan :- Amid snowfall, A cordon and search operation has been launched by Government Forces in Shopian District of South Kashmir.

An official told that on Tuesday , the 34 RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched a search operation in Bemnipora Armbagh Mohala Area of South Kashmir’s Shopian District.

Following inputs about Militant movement in the area, the forces blocked all the entry and exit points of the area.

A door to door search operation had been launched when this report was filed.`
