Jammu, May-5, 2021: Tehreek-e-Hurriyat chairman, Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has died in government medical college hospital Jammu today morning. The family sources have confirmed to MVK. His son has left for Udhampur to collect the body of a veteran separatist leader.
Sehrai’s health condition had deteriorated in Udhampur jail and he was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur, but didn’t respond to treatment and was shifted to Jammu medical college hospital. Ashraf Sehrai was booked under Public Safety Act last year.
An official told a news agency that the Hurriyat Chairman has been admitted in GMC Jammu after his health started deteriorating at Udhampur jail. Mohammad Ashraf Sehrai has breathed his last breath today at 11 am. Further details are awaited
