Govt employee, non-local among six fresh Covid-19 deaths on Thursday, J-K toll 282

Six more patients including Jal Shakti employee, a non-local who were tested positive for COVID19 died on thursday in Kashmir, taking total count of fatalities in UT’s of Jammu and Kashmir to 283.

Officials said that six patients who died include a Jal Shakti department employee 55-year-old from taribal area of Nawakadal Srinagar, 57-year-old from Firdousabad Batamaloo Srinagar, 52-year-old women from Zoonimar Srinagar, 46-year-old women from gazriyal village of north Kashmir’s Kupwara, 70-year-old lady from Uri district Baramulla and 60-year-old male non-local from Kerela, Sources said.

An official from SKIMS soura told Asiannewshub that a patient from taribal was admitted on July 13 with multiple ailments, sccumbed on Thursday morning.

He added that a patient from Firdousabad Batamaloo was admitted on 10 July and was diagnosed with bilateral pneumonia.

Regarding Zoonimar women, official from SKIMS soura said that the patient was admitted on 22 July with multiple ailments

Regarding a lady from Kupwara, Official said that the patient was admitted in the hospital on 20 July and had tested positive for COVID19 posthumously.

Regarding a non-local, official said that the patient died after testing positive for COVID19.

Regarding a lady patient from Uri, Official at Baramulla hospital said that a 70-year old dialysis patient with CRF, varian mass and
Metastatic mitotic disease with acitis and was critically ill.

Her dialysis was done at Khyber hospital in Srinagar and after dialysis, she was advised to go home and come after one week for dialysis, he said, adding that she was sampled because of co morbidity by CMO Srinagar and in late hours result was positive and next day she expired and was buried as per covid protocol on Wednesday evening.

With 06 more deaths, the death toll due to COVID19 has reached to 283 in Jammu and Kashmir including 263 from Kashmir division and 20 from Jammu division
