Kashmir shivers with cold again, Gulmarg freezes at minus 13.4, Srinagar at minus 5.6

Kashmir, 28 Jan (KB):Cold wave on thursday intensified in parts of kashmir valley with mercury droping below freezing point.

As per daily data isssued by Meteorological department copy of which lies with kashmir bulletin states that srinagar frezes at minus 5.6 degree celsius again.

Giving details of other districts data states that tourist resorts of Kashmir gulmarg and pahalgam also shivers at minus 13.4 and minus 12.3 , while as Qazigund shivers at minus 10.5 , Kupwara at minus 2.2 , Kokarnag at minus 10.7, Awantipora at minus 10.6 .

In Jammu division Banihal shivers at minus 2.2 , Batote 0.5 in Jammu city 6.2, Katra 6.0 .

In Ladakh Drass shivers at minus 28.1, Leh at minus 16.8, Kargil minus 21.3 .

Meanwhile MET has earlier forecasted dry and cloudy weather till 31st of January in jammu and Kashmir.
