Ganderbal, Mar 11: A laborer died after being hit by a shooting stone near Zojila Tunnel in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, the police said today.
A police official told news agency Kashmir News Trust that Jahangeer Ahmed Wani (35) son of Abdul Gani, a resident of Banihal Ramban suffered serious injuries when he was hit by a shooting stone while at work near Zojila Tunnel.
Wani was shifted to Sub-District Hospital, KanganBaramulla, from where he was referred to the SKIMS in Srinagar.
The victim succumbed to his injuries in the hospital. (KNT)
