“`Ganderbal,Feb 28, :Police in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district arrested two persons for possessing charas and liquor bottles.
Police sources said that over 42-kilogram charas was recovered from a man identified as Ishfaq Nabi Sheikh at Batapora Safapora area of Ganderbal. The arrest was made by a police party from police station Safapora.
An FIR vide number 7/2022 under section 8/20 of the NDPS Act was registered against the accused.
In another incident, a police party from Lar Ganderbal arrested a man namely Tawseef Khan at Dursuma Lar and recovered charas and liquor bottles from his possession. An FIR (13/2022) under section 8/20, 21 of the NDPS Act was registered against the accused.
