A policeman died of cardiac arrest while he was on duty in Kokernag area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district late last evening, officials said on Thursday.
An official told a local news agency that Nisar Ahmad Mugloo, a selection grade constable in J-K Police suffered a heart attack last evening.
He said that he was shifted to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
The deceased was posted as Personal Security Officer (PSO) of District Development Council (DDC) member of Larooo.
