Students back to school in China, as restrictions ease
China’s two most important cities, Beijing and Shanghai, allowed students back onto campuses on Monday after more than three months at home, as coronavirus restrictions eased and governments around the world began charting a path out of the pandemic’s lockdown. Students returning to campus to prepare for the all important national university entrance exam found that life is still far from normal, with smaller classes, temperature checks, strict social distancing, and no physical education sessions.
