Srinagar: Tanveer ul Ahad Editor-in-Chief of Srinagar based leading news agency Global News Service (GNS) passes away after a brief illness late Monday evening at SMHS hospital.
He was also owner and Editor of English daily Kashmir Glory. 38-year-old Ahad, who is survived by wife and three children, was admitted at SMHS hospital Srinagar on Saturday with unbearable pain. After battling with life for two days, he lost breathe on late Monday evening.
Meanwhile Journalist fraternity expressed condolences and sympathy with the bereaved family. The fraternity prayed for the peace of departed soul.
