Trade bodies will support re-imposition of lockdown in Kashmir amid Coronavirus cases spike: Yaseen Khan

Traders leader Muhammad Yasin Khan has advocated the reimposition of lockdown in Kashmir, as Coronavirus cases and CoVID-19 deaths are rising at an alarming rate.

In an exclusive interview with Kashmir Dot Com (KDC) Kashmir traders and manufactures federation President, Khan said, “I feel there is a need for reimposition of lockdown to save lives. If Government takes a decision to reimpose lockdown, we will fully support that move.”

Khan said a debate was going on in public and on social media, where mostly people favour the reimposition of lockdown.
“We will support the Government of it takes the decision to go for lockdown again,” Khan said.

Khan said SOPs were violated and guidelines were not followed by people after Government revoked lockdown last month.

At least 162 people have died with or of CoVID-19 and 9888 have tested positive for Coronavirus in Jammu and Kashmir.

Nearly 5786 have recovered from the disease.(KDC)
