As the encounter spree continues in South Kashmir, Two militants, one CRPF personnel were killed in an encounter in Bandzoo area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Tuesday.
Inspector General of Police Kashmir Zone Vijay Kumar told GNS that during firefight two unidentified militant were killed and a CRPF personnel also succumbed to his injury.
Earlier According to the reports reaching GNS, a joint team of Police, Army’s 55 RR and CRPF launched a cordon-and-search-operation in Bandzoo.
As the joint team encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them. The fire was retaliated by the joint team, triggering off an encounter.(GNS)
